Avalon’s comprehensive approach is vital in transforming lives. Trauma affects every aspect of an individual’s life, and each person’s experience is unique. Avalon’s integrated care model coordinates care from clinicians who provide personalized support.
You will receive an accurate and individual assessment before beginning care.
Once your needs are identified, a care plan and location will be discussed by a peer support coordinator.
Apply the tools you have been given and turn struggle into strength and thrive in the aftermath of trauma.
Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
100 hours of personalized care delivered over three weeks, supported by an integrated and interdisciplinary clinical team. Each client leaves with a long-term care plan and the tools to move forward.

The care I received didn’t just help me understand and start the recovery process. You’re a whole body — a whole person — in this program. They put you on the path to addressing all the issues, not just injuries directly related to the TBI.

Avalon alliance partners have built programs based on the science of posttraumatic growth. We provide non-clinical training program in a military relevant setting, designed and provided by peers.

Serving others is my purpose, but I must first focus on ‘struggling well’ and serving myself by focusing on my family, my character, and my beliefs.

Avalon’s alliance of substance abuse treatment centers helps you heal with among your brothers and sisters, not at a hospital or impersonal health clinic. We’ve designed our treatment centers to be the opposite of a sterile-feeling institution. You or your loved ones have suffered enough. Healing at our center should ultimately be an uplifting, positive, and relieving experience. It’s not easy, but it’s worth it. That’s what we’ve created for our warriors.

My career with the US Army was unfortunately cut short due to my own neglect of caring for my body and mind after suffering from a TBI. I went through many years after my discharge blaming others, the military, and my own sense of worth. I am currently in week 3 out of a 42 day substance abuse treatment program. So far, I have learned to manage my emotions and trauma through a series of very helpful clinicians and workshops.
